After Louisville beat Notre Dame tonight, the Big East picture became a little bit clearer. Georgetown and Louisville, tied at 11-3 in the conference, now each control their own destiny. Since they play each other in just over a week at Verizon Center, each team could win out and win the league. Louisville has Villanova at home on Sunday, so it is likely the Cardinals will come to D.C. at 14-3. For Georgetown, this weekend will not be as easy.
The Hoyas will travel up to Milwaukee on Saturday to take on the 21-6 (11-5 Big East) Golden Eagles. Marquette has won five straight and are 14-1 at home this year. Here is what Georgetown needs to do to come out of Wisconsin still atop the Big East:
