January will be a big month for John Thompson III and his team for no other reason than its rigorous Big East schedule. The national spotlight will shine on the Hoyas on two Monday evenings: ESPN announced it will televise Georgetown-St. John’s from the Garden on Jan. 3 and Georgetown-Louisville from Verizon on Jan. 31, both in prime time on the network’s Big Monday telecast.
